#10: Crossing the #100in100 finish line
A summary of our #100in100 mission and a sneak into what's next
đđ˝ Welcome to The Folklore, our (not-so) weekly newsletter where we talk about our journey of building Folklory. Every week weâll share updates, wins, and learnings, so sign up if youâd like to hear from us đ
Itâs been a while since we wrote the last newsletter - over a month, to be exact. Thatâs because the team decided to take a few weeks off after completing our #100in100 mission - our mission to get 100 customers in 100 days (You can read more about the mission in our first newsletter).
Even though we didnât reach our goal - we ended with 15 customers - we made a lot of progress building our service and learned so much about what customers want.
So letâs dive into some key highlights

𤊠Highlights
We recorded Folklories with people across 5 countries - Singapore, US, Hong Kong, Mexico, Germany
We spoke to many companies on how they could use Folklory as a tool to build culture and did our first episode with a startup founder
We hosted 3 listening parties with our customers where they listened to their Folklories for the very first time
We managed to automate a lot of the process of creating a Folklory
If youâd like to hear more about our reflections, head over to the podcast below from Yah Lah But, a show co-hosted by Terence and I (starting 1:00 - 13:00)
#TheNext100
Weâre super excited about the next phase of Folklory, mainly because thereâs so much we need to do. From improving the way we communicate what Folklory is (this continues to be one of our biggest challenges) to working with new Folklorists - we have a long road ahead of us.
Our belief in the power of stories and audio has been strengthened over the last few months and weâre pumped about our next phase of growth. Weâll save the details for next weekâs issue but as we formally close our #100in100 Mision, weâre ready to begin #TheNext100
Hope youâve enjoyed this weekâs episode of The Folklore. If you have feedback, ideas, or just want to get in touch, you can always write to us at theteam@folklory.com or DM us @thefolklory on IG. We would love to hear from you â¤ď¸
Until next time
