#13: Momentum
New website and super customers!
šš½ Welcome to The Folklore, our (not-so) weekly newsletter where we talk about our journey of building Folklory. Weāll share updates, wins, and learnings every week, so sign up if youād like to hear from us.
The last week has been exciting, and weāre picking up some momentum! We spoke to customers, launched a new website, and closed an order for 10 episodes. I guess we just needed some time for things to start falling into place. So letās dive in!

šNew Website
We finally released our new website and weāre much happier with this version as compared to the last one. Hereās what we all improved.
Cleaned up the copy to explain the concept better. Our header now reads āTurn your family memories into personal podcastsā which was one of the main reasons why people were drawn towards the idea.
Weāve also added a bunch of pictures of real customers (vs the stock images we had earlier). These were taken from the listening party we hosted for our early customers!
Weāve also added snippets of actual Folklories to help new customers get a sneak peek into what to expect. They can get a preview of the different themes as well as get a feel of the final product.
We also add some (really big) text to clarify some misconceptions.
You can head over to our website - www.Folklory.com - to check all these out! As always, feedback and ideas are welcome šš½
š¦øš¼āāļø Super Users?
This week we spoke to 3 different customers, each of whom wanted to order >10 episodes! Apart from these being big orders, what got us the most excited is that they used terms like ātime capsuleā when telling us what they wanted to achieve with Folklory! Itās been a challenge to explain the idea of Folklory to people, but hearing these customers was just a delight! Hereās what they wanted (and exactly what we think Folklory can help with)
Celebrating a husbandās birthday by recording conversations with people from different parts of this life
Bringing together a newly formed creative team by recording conversations with each member about who they are and what creativity means to them
If youāre looking for something similar, weād love to speak with you and share how Folklory can help!
And thatās a wrap! Hope youāve enjoyed this weekās episode of The Folklore. If you have feedback, ideas, or just want to get in touch, you can always write to us at theteam@folklory.com or DM us at @thefolklory on IG. We would love to hear from you ā¤ļø
Until next time
