đđ˝ Welcome to The Folklore, our weekly newsletter where we talk about our journey of building Folklory, a startup that helps you turn family memories into podcasts. Weâll share weekly updates, wins, and learnings, so sign up if youâd like to hear from us.
Over the last week, weâve been working on getting ready for the upcoming Christmas season. Itâs the time of the year when the family comes together and celebrates. Itâs also the time when many of us reflect on the year thatâs been. And given these two, we feel Folklory might be the perfect gift this Christmas!
Todayâs issue will be a short one and a sneak peek into what weâve been working on. But stay tuned as youâll be hearing a lot from us starting next week!
12 Questions for 12 Days
One of the things we do really well at Folkory is to ask great questions! A good question can spark a conversation which can lead to interesting insights and revelations. So as we approach December, weâll be posting one interesting question on our Instagram that you can ask a loved one. Weâre also considering collecting some interesting answers and sharing them. Do follow us on Instagram to participate. Weâre @thefolklory
Weekly Themes
Each week from now till the end of the year, weâll have a specific theme. Without giving away too much, the goal is to give people ideas about the different kinds of Folklories they can create this holiday season. Each week, Terence and I will also do a mini-episode on that theme. You can follow this on The Folklory Stories podcast - so do subscribe to the podcast.
One of the goals for this sprint was to make a concerted effort to push Folklory this Christmas. If youâve been following our journey and havenât got yourself a Folklory yet, do consider getting one this Christmas or telling one person about it. Itâll really help us get the word out. If you donât feel like it, at least consider sharing some feedback with us, so that we can do better!
To wrap up, Iâll leave you with a Google review we got recently.
Until next time,
Haresh
