š Work in Progress
In order to get the word out, weāve been producing more content for our social media channels. These include some fantastic customer testimonials - hereās one with an early Folkory customer
In order to help people envision what they can use Folklory for, we came up with different kinds of Folklories people can pick from. One of them is called Audio-Biography, where we record and celebrate someoneās life story, told from their own perspective. These "audio time capsules" can be preserved for generations to follow. The conversation is anchored around topics like Childhood and early years, Work and Career, Family Life, Lessons and Reflections, and more.
š¤ Learnings
Today when you visit our website, you can decide what kind of Folklory you want. Itās a blank canvas. We thought this was great, but we learned that this is also very confusing to consumers. Since this is a new concept, too much choice makes it harder to choose and get the word out. Even though weāve tried to list down a few kinds of Folklories, like Audio-Biography, we still received feedback that itās confusing.
We also heard from some guests that they had no context before recording and thus went blank at times. We want to preserve the spontaneous nature of the conversations as they are the most authentic, but we learned that some guests might need some basic context before we hit record. So weāve started experimenting with some guests by sending them some talking points ahead of the recording. Results to follow in a few weeks!
